Growing Up IV

Every one is faking it!

It's crazy because in a world with so many hierarchies,

no one knows what their doing!

It's absurd because in a world with leaders and followers,

everyone is just trying to get by!

It's insane because in a world of elders and young ones,

there really isn't much of a difference between the two!

Just a little older with a little more freedom,

Just a little older with a little less freedom.

Simultaneous actions,

simultaneous prisons.

Can't win,

but you can't lose.

And everyone's smiling in their

black and blue.

Acting "cool",

calm and collected trying to pretend that they aren't tools.

Acting like their aren't faking it.

Like everyone else is...

Everyone is faking it!

So why are we pretending that growing up changes anything...

It's all the same.

Life is all the same.
